How to add a pet

Before adding a pet, it is a good idea to search the client and pet in the top search bar to ensure that the client/pet does not already in the system. Simply search for breed, name, first name, last name, phone number to filter the results.

  • Add a pet quickly during booking

In the top plus sign, boarding map, and most booking views, you can add a new client and pet with basic details on the go.

  • Add a pet in Add Profile

Or on the left side menu > Add Profile, you can enter some or all of the information.

  1. First add a customer, if the client does not always exist in the system. Click on Add/Edit Customer to submit, and if successful you will be directed to the newly created customer profile page.

     2. Click on ‘Add New Pet’ to add a pet. On the pet page, if the customer is found and valid, you will see the blue background. Otherwise, it would be orange or blank. Click on Add Pet. If you see a success message, then you are good to go.    

There are a ton of things you can track and utilize on the pet page, such as attachments, report cards, future bookings, past check-ins, payments, notes, medications, saved credit cards, and more.
