Running a boarding facility isn't easy. You can end up with an unpleasant day if the kennel assignment does not go smoothly. With PawsAdmin, you can set up different kennel spaces and associated prices, capacities and more, all within seconds. Here's how.
Step 1: Set up associated prices
Click on Admin menu > Edit service options and prices to set up your boarding service offerings
Step 2: Set up kennels
Click on Programs > Boarding > Manage Kennels or Add/View records, Manage Kennels to set up kennels. If you charge different prices for different kennel groups. For example, $40 for a large suite and $20 for a small suite, then set up Large suite as a group and link to a $40 price option, and Small suite as another group and link to the $20 price option.
If you charge one price only, create one Boarding group.
Add kennel name and type to each kennel group.
Once set up, you will see the kennel booking map at booking. If you also offer daycare, you can assign daycare dogs to the boarding kennels or reserve some of the kennels for daycare only.
You can add dogs' preferred kennels in each individual pet profile page. You can assign kennels directly from the booking and check-in tables.
